To explain the photo, this is what happens when an author has read too many 70s/80s pulp novels, steals his partner’s fedora on holidays, and fails to replicate any of the author pics from his memory.

If you get past the ridiculous pretence of this ridiculous photo, hello, I’m Jake McCormac.
I write across the gamut of Speculative fiction; Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror. Always dark, sometimes funny, and I hope good enough to make you read another sentence.

I’ve had a lifelong infatuation with dark tales and storytelling. While studying translation, I found I could create something readable from the words of others. I forever live in hope that my tales are just as readable now the words are my own.

From Portadown in Co. Armagh, N.Ireland I now live in Kent, U.K. with my fiancée, Clare and my Infuriatingly cute son, Max. My only real in this gain,is to dedicte a book to those two. So, I’ll keep writing until that happens (but, if you’re a fan, don’t worry–I have a big family).
